A baby was born on 29 June 2013 and its one year so soon...
Here comes the time for Annual Celebrations!!! Yes it is BLISS, the Charitable Society established with a cause to serve the needy orphans and the detached senior citizens.
Five big events in twelve months were executed. New relations were born, new bonds were built between tens, twelves and sixties, seventies. Delicious food was served to bring all age groups together. Health camps were conducted for elder people. Blankets were distributed to the homeless people in the cold nights. Competitive examinations were conducted to build confidence in students. Needy children's school fees were paid. Hidden skills in the growing children were explored in summer vacation.
What not BLISS is immensely satisfied with its programmes and success during the year.
Nothing can be achieved by a single hand. Many hands joined together in this one year long success story. BLISS thanks each and everyone who helped directly and indirectly to make it triumphant in its journey of implementing its aims and objectives in the very first year.
BLISS seeks the same kind of support from all the members and well wishers in the coming years.
Now, its the time to celebrate the completion of the first page and the beginning of the second page in the book of charity and service being authored by BLISS.
On sunday, the 29th June 2014, Bliss Charitable Society has planned to visit 5 Orphan Homes and distribute the kits containing the valuable items given below to around 150 kids residing there:
a) Life History of Swami Vivekananda
b) Examination writing Pad
c) Set of notebooks
d) Pens, Pencils, Erasers and Sharpeners
Bliss Charitable Society has also planned to celebrate its Anniversary in each of the Orphan Homes by cake cutting to share the joy.

It was full of fun to the kids of various Orphan Homes associated with Bliss Charitable Society in this summer vacation. During the weekends of May and June, several programmes were organized by BLISS to identify and encourage hidden talents in the kids. This project titled "Summer Fun with Bliss" helped in boosting the enthusiasm and to extemporize the skills of children.
Some of the special features in this project were
i) To build team spirit among the kids with innovative team activities
ii) To make them masters in general usage English by helping in rectification of common errors
iii) To inculcate tricky Mathematical skills in them
iv) To identify their talent in fine arts and help them refine
v) To induce good habits and healthy practices
It is a very happy moment as BLISS has further extended its area of service by welcoming one more Orphan Home by name "Society for Health, Education and Economic Progress", situated at Chintal, Hyderabad.
